Lynette became an RN in 1971 and later earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. As President and CEO of Competent Care Home Health Nursing, Lynette oversees the process, direction and vision of services provided to all clients. With more than 45 years of nursing experience in several capacities, Lynette has catapulted Competent Care towards the next phase of home nursing by building contractual partnerships with insurance companies, care coordinators and third party administrators to provide their patients with home health services. As one of the founding members of Competent Care, Lynette is credited for the development and implementation of a business model that provides the highest quality of professional home care services to a multitude of patients.

Denise Kennard
Vice President

After receiving her RN license, Denise Kennard rose through the ranks at Competent Care Home Health Nursing, working in the field and then serving as Nursing Supervisor. In 2001, Denise became the co-owner and the company thrived in the competitive industry, delivering the best possible level of professional home care services to a multitude of patients. Under Denise’s direction, Competent Care expanded skilled nursing services to include IV therapy, wound care and physical therapy and added a full range of caregiving services.
