Since founding this organization in 1988, I have been deeply committed to supporting patients and families navigating the challenges of illness, disability, or aging. Over the years, our team has grown, but our dedication to high-quality home health nursing and client-centered care remains the heart of everything we do.
When I first envisioned Competent Care, I knew there was a gap in services that truly honored the dignity and unique needs of each patient. Families often struggled to find professional support that combined clinical expertise with genuine empathy. I wanted to create a home health provider that not only delivered exceptional skilled nursing services, respite care, and memory care, but also treated every client as part of our extended family. This vision continues to guide us today.
Our team at Competent Care is comprised of experienced Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, therapists, and trained caregivers, all united by a shared commitment to excellence.
